Suspension – Feckenham

PMR provides Porsche suspension inspection, diagnosis, repair and replacement at our workshop in Feckenham.

Suspension problems can present themselves in many ways, including knocks and rattles, poor ride quality, unusual handling, uneven tyre wear, vibration or changes in ride height. Not every suspension problem will produce a warning light or fault code, so identifying the cause can require physical inspection and road testing as well as electronic diagnosis where appropriate.

We work with both conventional Porsche suspension and electronically controlled systems such as Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Where required, PASM faults can be investigated using Porsche PIWIS 4 alongside mechanical and electrical testing.

Ride-height and level sensors are also checked where relevant. Their mechanisms and linkages can break, seize or become bent, which can affect the information supplied to the vehicle’s suspension systems.

PMR carries out replacement of suspension components including PASM dampers and associated parts. Where suspension work affects the vehicle’s alignment, we can carry out the appropriate full wheel alignment and geometry setup afterwards.

For warning messages, intermittent suspension faults or problems requiring more detailed investigation, find out more about our Porsche Diagnostics & Fault Finding service.

We also carry out Porsche suspension performance upgrades. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
